De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), os soldados Posela e Mandelli estavam patrulhando e foram informações via Centro de Operações da Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo (COPOM) que um indivíduo estava ameaçando o outro com uma espingarda na Rua Carlos João Olivieri.

A equipe foi até o local e contato com a vítima a mesma informou que autor havia acabado de entrar em sua residência com o armamento. Os policiais foram até o imóvel e localizaram o criminoso.

O abordado estava muito nervoso e acabou confessando que havia escondido o armamento atrás do tanque de lavar roupas, varias equipes chegaram no apoio e foi encontrado o armamento.

O caso foi encaminhado à Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ), onde o homem permaneceu preso. O armamento permaneceu apreendido juntamente com 11 munições.
