De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMR), o acidente aconteceu no quilometro 129 e ainda não tem informações sobre o provocamento do capotamento. A mulher ficou presa nas ferragens e foi socorrida por uma viatura da concessionária AutoBan ao Hospital Municipal.

Devido esse acidente, mais seis veículos se chocaram por não conseguirem frear a tempo, mas só uma pessoa ficou ferida. A faixa um está interdita.

Equipes B-01 do 192 Americana, AutoBan, o Corpo de Bombeiros, a Gama (Guarda Municipal de Americana) e a PMR (Polícia Militar Rodoviária) estão em atendimento à ocorrência.
