O incidente ocorreu no quilômetro 9 do Anel Viário Magalhães Teixeira (SP-083). Ninguém ficou ferido.

A Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMRv) informou que o Corpo de Bombeiros esteve na ocorrência e conteve o fogo.

De acordo com a concessionária Rota das Bandeiras que administra a rodovia, a pista ficou bloqueada das 12h40 às 13h15. Durante esse período houve três quilômetros de congestionamento.

A causa do incêndio não foi confirmada.

O acidente aconteceu na altura do quilômetro 17 da pista sentido à Rodovia D. Pedro I.

O policiamento interditou a faixa da esquerda da pista para atender as vítimas, que tiveram ferimentos leves.

Uma delas foi liberada após atendimento médico no local e outra encaminhada para o Pronto Atendimento São José.

A polícia apura as causas do acidente.
