De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, os policiais civis foram informados pela assessora parlamentar do deputado Bruno Lima de que havia animais abandonados em uma residência na Rua Antônio Politano.

A equipe foi até o local e encontraram três cachorros filhotes e um felino. Os policiais civis, juntamente o deputado Bruno entraram na residência e resgataram os animais. Ninguém foi detido, porém durante averiguação pelo imóvel foi encontrado um simulacro de arma de fogo.

Os animais foram encaminhados ao Centro de Controle de Zoonoses da Prefeitura Municipal de Americana, já  o armamento foi apreendido.
