A condutora do veículo era uma enfermeira, que parou para prestar o primeiro atendimento à vítima.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a motorista tem 45 anos e reside em Rio das Pedras (SP). Ela contou à polícia, que ao acessar a Rua Geraldo Pedro Arcanjo no Residencial Vila Nova, teve a visão ofuscada pelo sol.

A mulher alega que não viu a vítima passar na frente do veículo, até sentir que algo bateu no carro. Só então ela viu o aposentado caído na rua e parou para prestar socorro.

A enfermeira chamou uma ambulância, verificou os sinais vitais da vítima e também colocou um colar cervical.

A unidade de resgate encaminhou o aposentado até o pronto-socorro municipal, mas ele não resistiu aos ferimentos.

A polícia esteve no local e apresentou a ocorrência de homicídio culposo na direção de veículo, na delegacia de Polícia Civil.
