Durante patrulhamento e por volta das 23h50 foi passado na rede de radio, que um individuo, trajando roupas escuras, estaria transitando pela Avenida Abdo Najar carregando um embrulho aparentando ser uma televisão.

Com as informações os agentes municipais Inspetor Charles e os GCMs Bruno e Roque iniciaram as buscas pela avenida, sendo encontrado o rapaz com as mesmas características e embrulho, a qual foi abordado e revistado, sendo encontrado em um saco plástico duas grelhas de ferro, que informou ter encontrado em uma caçamba.

Os guardas municipais então realizaram patrulhamente afim de encontrar locais, que poderiam ter sido furtadas as grelhas, porem se excito, acharam por bem devido a suspeita de ilícito, apresentar o individuo e os objetos na Polícia Civil.

Pela Central de Policia Judiciaria (CPJ) de Americana, autoridade de policia judiciaria fez a apreensão dos objetos e liberou o rapaz.
