De acordo com a Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMR), uma equipe do Tático Ostensivo Rodoviário (TOR), estava patrulhando pela rodovia quando no quilometro 115 +800, sentido Capital, abordaram uma Land Rover Discovery.

No interior do carro havia três indivíduos sem nada de ilícito, apenas um com passagem pelo sistema prisional por sonegação fiscal.

No porta malas foi encontrada uma maleta com 71 pedras de esmeralda sem comprovação de origem e transporte.

Um passageiro assumiu a propriedade informou que havia adquirido as pedras de uma pessoa que trouxe de Palmas (TO) e que pagou R$ 20 mil, ainda relatou que a comercialização das pedras lhe rende aproximadamente R$ 50 mil.

O caso está sendo apresentando no 1º Distrito Policial, onde as pedras permanecerão presas e os indivíduos liberados.
