Ele portava uma arma de brinquedo para ameaçar as vítimas.

A equipe foi acionada por volta das 16h, na Rua 13 de Maio. No local, os policiais avistaram o suspeito correndo. Houve um breve acompanhamento a pé até o momento da abordagem.

Durante a fuga, o suspeito, que já era conhecido no meio policial, dispensou uma arma pela via, que posteriormente foi identificada como uma arma de brinquedo. Os policiais conseguiram alcançar o suspeito. A vítima do roubo também estava no local e reconheceu o autor do crime.

Segundo apurado pelo Policial Padrão, a vítima estava próxima de um terminal de ônibus quando percebeu que o rapaz estava a seguindo. Ele anunciou o assalto, colocando a mão na cintura e mostrando a suposta arma. O criminoso levou três correntes que estavam no pescoço da vítima.

O autor foi encaminhado ao 1° Distrito Policial (DP), onde permaneceu à disposição da Justiça. A arma de brinquedo foi apreendida e os objetos roubados devolvidos à vítima.
