O responsável pelo ataque foi um estudante de 13 anos, já apreendido pela polícia.

Uma unidade de resgate chegou a socorrer a docente, mas ela não resistiu aos ferimentos e morreu. Outros três professores e dois estudantes ficaram feridos no ataque.

O governo estadual informou em nota que os feridos foram encaminhados aos hospitais das Clínicas, Bandeirantes, Universitário e São Luís.

“A situação causa consternação a todos e a prioridade neste momento é prestar socorro às vítimas e apoio aos familiares”, disse o governo.

Luto oficial

O estado de SP decretou luto oficial de três dias por conta da tragédia.

As polícias civil e militar estão no local para atender a ocorrência. Os secretários de Educação, Renato Feder, e da Segurança, Guilherme Derrite, também estão na escola. A escola ficará fechada e a reabertura acontecerá de forma gradual após avaliação.

De acordo com o secretário de Segurança, uma professora de Educação Física, foi quem conteve o agressor. Uma viatura da Ronda Escolar chegou em três minutos ao local.
