Em seguida, ela teria queimado o próprio corpo. A causa da agressão não foi divulgada.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi acionada por volta das 22h, na Rua Vinte e Dois, para atender uma ocorrência de violência doméstica. Chegando no local, o morador relatou que a esposa teria ateado fogo nele.

Segundo apurado pelo Policial Padrão, para apagar as chamas, a vítima correu para o chuveiro, sofrendo apenas queimaduras superficiais. Ao sair do banheiro, o homem se deparou com a mulher, em chamas, e a arrastou para debaixo do chuveiro. Em seguida, ele contatou a polícia e o Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu).

A esposa, apesar de consciente, não pôde fornecer sua versão dos fatos devido ao atendimento médico que estava recebendo. Ambos os envolvidos apresentavam sinais de estarem sob efeito de alguma substância. Eles foram socorridos e levados à Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) do bairro.

Posteriormente, a esposa foi transferida para o Hospital Estadual de Sumaré (SP).
As circunstâncias que levaram à agressão são investigadas.
