A Guarda Municipal de Americana apresentou à Polícia Civil, somente em abril deste ano, 122 ocorrências, número bem acima do registrado no mesmo período do ano passado, que totalizou 87 ocorrências.

Desse total, foram apresentados 23 flagrantes, sendo um de roubo, seis de furto, 10 de tráfico, quatro de violência doméstica e dois por outros motivos. Estes flagrantes resultaram na prisão de 25 pessoas.

O número de apreensões de drogas também teve um aumento significativo se comparados os dois períodos, abril de 2021 e abril de 2020. Este ano foram 6,4 quilos de cocaína (132 gramas no ano passado), 477 gramas de crack (sete gramas em abril de 2020), quatro quilos de maconha (630 gramas no mesmo período do ano passado) e um litro de lança-perfume (nenhuma apreensão em abril do ano passado).

“Os patrulheiros da Guarda Municipal realizam um excelente trabalho no atendimento às demandas da comunidade e no combate à criminalidade. E os números apresentados em abril refletem essa realidade”, afirmou o comandante da corporação, Marco Aurelio da Silva.
