O caso aconteceu na região do Jardim Picerno, em Sumaré (SP).

De acordo com apuração do site Policial Padrão, por volta das 13h, um motorista de Nova Odessa (SP) seguia pela Avenida Fuad Assef Maluf.  Ele contou à polícia que a vítima estava atravessando fora da faixa, mas voltou de repente para a rua e saltou na frente do caminhão.

O condutor disse que não teve tempo hábil para desviar ou evitar o atropelamento.

A Polícia Militar (PM) e uma unidade de resgate foram ao local do acidente.

Segundo a PM, a vítima sofreu ferimentos leves e apresentava claros sinais de embriaguez. Ela foi encaminhada para a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento Macarenko, onde recebeu cuidados médicos.

Como não constatou nenhuma infração de trânsito no local, a polícia registrou o acidente e liberou o motorista.
