O sistema de monitoramento da corporação ajudou a localizar o criminoso, na tarde de sexta-feira (31).

De acordo com informações da prefeitura, a Muralha Digital foi instalada na cidade em janeiro e faz a análise das placas dos veículos. Foi desse modo que o Centro de Operações e Inteligência (COI), descobriu um veículo que pertencia ao procurado.

Com esses dados, a equipe iniciou buscas pela cidade e encontrou o criminoso no bairro Macuco, na frente de uma empresa.

Segundo a administração municipal o crime foi praticado há dez anos, durante uma briga em um campo de futebol, com uso de arma de fogo.

O homem foi levado ao Distrito Policial e ficou detido à disposição das autoridades.
