O veículo fazia uma manutenção no canteiro central da Avenida Brasil quando a moto o atingiu violentamente.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 8h. A vítima seguia em uma Honda Biz quando perdeu o controle da moto e atingiu a traseira do trator que estava parado.

Daniel chegou a ser socorrido por uma equipe do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu), mas morreu no local.

O operador de máquinas, responsável pelo veículo, contou à polícia que o trator estava com todos os sinais de iluminação ligados no momento do acidente. Além disso, a área em obras estava devidamente sinalizada com cones e placas de advertência.

O caso foi registrado como homicídio culposo na direção de veículo automotor. O corpo da vítima foi encaminhado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML).
