O caso foi atendido pela Polícia Militar (PM).

Os soldados Ivan e Tamires foram acionados para comparecer na agência, pois um indivíduo estava tentando realizar uma abertura de conta com o uso de documento falso. No local a bancária informou que suspeitou do documento, ligou em uma das empresas que estava registrada e confirmou que o mesmo nunca foi funcionário de tal estabelecimento.

A equipe então levou o documento até o Ministério do Trabalho, onde constataram que havia irregularidades como falta de numeração nas folhas e carimbo de alto relevo na foto.

O caso foi encaminhado à Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ), onde o homem prestou depoimento e permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
