O caso aconteceu por volta das 13h12, no bairro Jardim Souza Queiroz.

Os policiais Cabo Cassemiro e Soldado Andrade foram informados via Centro de Operações da Polícia Militar do Estado de São Paulo (Copom) que havia um furto em andamento na Rua Ver. Dr. Sebastião Adail Ribeiro e foram ao local.

Em um imóvel no endereço havia um bazar sendo realizado. A responsável pela evento foi questionada se havia algo de ilícito e informou sobre uma espingarda.

Os militares foram até o guarda-roupas onde estava o armamento e apreenderam uma espingarda de calibre 12, 15 cartuchos, um carregador de pistola calibre 32 e três munições intactas.

Outra mulher que estava na residência relatou que os objetos que estavam sendo vendidos eram de seu falecido pai e a moça que estava realizando o evento não tinha permissão para vende-los.

Ainda segundo a mulher, a organizadora do bazar tinha a chave da residência apenas para cuidar dos animais.

O caso foi encaminhado ao Plantão Policial, onde o armamento foi recolhido pela autoridade de plantão e todos foram liberados após prestarem depoimentos.
