O autor foi identificado como um homem de 30 anos, namorado da ex-mulher de uma das vítimas que fugiu após o crime.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o caso aconteceu por volta das 23h, no Jardim Brasil. As vítimas foram um rapaz de 29 anos, que precisou passar por cirurgia e outro de 31, atingido no braço.

A namorada da vítima mais jovem contou que a ex-mulher dele estava no bingo com o atual companheiro, identificado como autor do crime. Ela alegou que não presenciou nenhuma provocação entre as partes, mas ao voltar de uma ida ao banheiro, se deparou com os dois homens brigando e viu o namorado ser esfaqueado.

O rapaz teve ferimentos na região do tórax e foi socorrido ao Hospital de Clínicas da Unicamp em Campinas (SP), onde passou por cirurgia.

Já a segunda vítima, não conhecia nenhum dos envolvidos, apenas estava perto da briga e acabou atingida. Um amigo socorreu o homem até a Unidade do Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Padre Anchieta também em Campinas.

A namorada do autor do crime contou que correu quando a briga começou e não soube informar o paradeiro dele. A polícia registrou a tentativa de homicídio e investiga o caso.
