Em um vídeo gravado por populares, é possível observar três adolescentes empurrando a moto de alta cilindrada à beira da pista, sob a luz do sol. Ao largarem o veículo, tentaram fugir por um barranco, mas a manobra de fuga não foi possível. Em seguida, correram em direção à pista, onde foram interceptados por um policial militar de folga. Dos três, um conseguiu escapar.

Após esse incidente, a Guarda Municipal prosseguiu com a ocorrência, apresentando os adolescentes e a motocicleta.

Na delegacia de Polícia Civil, o delegado determinou o registro de ato infracional de furto, liberando os menores para o conselho tutelar, que irá acompanhar tanto os menores quanto a família.
