A carga havia sido furtada junto com um caminhão em Paulínia (SP) na noite do dia 31.

De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, o proprietário do caminhão relatou que havia carregado e teria deixado o caminhão estacionado em frente a uma engarrafadora de gás em Paulínia (SP). Ao retornar, ele não encontrou mais o veículo.

Como o veículo tem rastreador, a vítima fez um monitoramento do trajeto percorrido e verificou que na madrugada desta sexta-feira (01), entre às 00h53 e 01h34, o caminhão havia parado na Rua João Basso Filho, na cidade de Iracemápolis (SP).

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi até o local. o responsável pelo depósito foi localizado pelos policiais e ao ser questionado sobre a procedência dos botijões, alegou que havia comprado de um terceiro, pelo valor aproximado de R$ 50 mil e que teria negociado através do celular a compra, mas o pagamento seria realizado posteriormente.

O caso foi encaminhado ao Plantão Policial, onde o abordado permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
