O caso aconteceu por volta das 10h13, no bairro Jardim América II.

De acordo com Guarda Municipal de Americana (GAMA), os agentes Queiroz e J.Eduardo foram informados de furto em andamento em um reservatório de água. A equipe foi até o local e encontraram alguns fios cortados.

No mesmo momento os patrulheiros foram avisados que havia um indivíduo queimando fios elétricos nas proximidades. O patrulhamento foi iniciado e o suspeito foi abordado com fios idênticos aos furtados.

O caso foi encaminhado à Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ), onde permaneceu à disposição da Justiça.
