Segundo a Guarda Municipal, o cadeirante de 43 anos trafegava pela avenida Carlos Botelho no Centro da cidade, quando foi pelo veículo Classic de cor cinza conduzido por um morador de Americana, nas imagens é possível ver que o homem foi atingido próximo à uma esquina.

O motorista parou para prestar socorro e alegou aos patrulheiros que chegaram rapidamente ao local não ter visto o excepcional no meio da via, os agentes prestaram os primeiros socorros à vítima além da preservação do local do acidente.

A pessoa com necessidades especiais foi socorrido por uma unidade de resgate e encaminhado ao Hospital Municipal com ferimentos leves nos pés e cabeça, o caso foi registrado no plantão policial da cidade e será investigado.
