Um funcionário notou a ação da menina no estabelecimento e a abordou.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, a menina escondeu o produto dentro de uma mochila e tentou sair do supermercado no Jardim Mercedes. O funcionário a parou e perguntou se ela tinha pegado algo escondido.

Ela confessou que sim, e mostrou a caixa de bombons na mochila.

A Polícia Militar (PM) foi chamada e conduziu a criança até a delegacia. Uma conselheira tutelar compareceu à unidade para acompanhar o caso que foi registrado como tentativa de furto.

Não há informações sobre quem seriam os responsáveis pela criança.
