Segundo informações da PM, eles receberam uma denúncia dizendo que a poucos momentos um rapaz de camisa regata azul, bermuda preta e boné, teria recebido de um veículo GM/Vectra preta um objeto embrulhado em um pano, com o formato de um arma de fogo longa e que o suspeito com o objeto estaria seguindo ainda pela Rodovia SP 332.

Diante das informações passadas os agentes estaduais iniciaram patrulhamento pra margem da rodovia, encontrando e abordando o suspeito que seguia de bicicleta.

Na revista pessoal foi localizado com ele, uma espingarda calibre .28 e uma munição (cartucho da mesma arma). Ele não quis falar sobre o armamento aos policiais.

Os militares então o apresentaram na delegacia de Artur Nogueira, onde os fatos foram registrados como apreensão de objeto, ficando a arma apreendida e o homem liberado.
