O incêndio aconteceu depois de um dos pneus do veículo estourar na altura do KM 94.

A Polícia Militar Rodoviária (PMR), informou que o caminhão estava carregado com gesso a granel e transitava no sentido interior, quando o pneu dianteiro estourou. Após o motorista parar no acostamento, a roda incendiou e as chamas consumiram o caminhão.

Apesar do incidente, o motorista não se feriu.
