A informação foi divulgada pela imprensa local e amigos do campineiro, mas o Itamaraty ainda não se pronunciou.

Conforme informações da imprensa europeia, a morte aconteceu durante combate no Distrito Militar Norte. Panavo costumava postar nas redes sociais ações da guerra e por isso ficou conhecido pelos internautas. Ele teria sido vítima de um ataque de drone das forças russas na localidade de Adviivka.

Leanderson Paulino, outro brasileiro da legião internacional, também confirmou em sua rede social a morte do campineiro em combate.

Max Panavo deixou o Brasil após ter matado com sete tiros o próprio irmão, Rudson Ribeiro de 41 anos, durante uma discussão em 2019. O policial se entregou à polícia na ocasião, foi detido e expulso da PM.

Depois do criem, ele foi preso temporariamente até conseguir a liberdade provisória e fugir do país. Foi assim que se alistou nas tropas ucranianas.
