De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), ele agia na companhia de uma mulher que também foi detida.

A PM já tinha a informação de que um casal seria o autor de diversos furtos em comércios locais e durante a madrugada abordou dois suspeitos, uma mulher de 38 e um homem de 40 anos.

Na revista, a equipe encontrou uma sacola com várias peças de roupas, além de um enxadão, uma chave turquesa e uma faca de cozinha. A polícia acredita que o casal usava os objetos para arrombar as portas de comércios.

Ainda segundo a PM, o homem confessou ter furtado ao menos cinco estabelecimentos naquele bairro e vendido os produtos em um ferro-velho de Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP).

A equipe ainda constatou que o suspeito é procurado por roubo, furtos e estupro de vulnerável, e tem 14 anos de pena a serem cumpridos.

Reconhecidos

Durante a abordagem, o dono de um dos comércios furtados se apresentou e reconheceu o casal. Ele alegou possuir imagens de monitoramento dos dois em ação, durante o crime ocorrido no domingo (1º) na Avenida Gioconda Cibin.

Por fim, a PM conduziu o casal até a Central de Polícia Judiciária (CPJ). O homem ficou detido para cumprimento da pena e agora vai responder por mais um furto. Já a mulher, foi autuada, mas ficou em liberdade por não ter ocorrido flagrante.
