Nomeada de “Castelo de Areia”, as apreensões foram feitas em Santa Bárbara d’Oeste (SP), Capivari (SP) e Mombuca (SP). Seis pessoas foram presas em flagrante.

A investigação da Unidade de Inteligência Policial do Deinter 9 envolveu o apoio de várias unidades da Polícia Civil, como a Delegacia de Investigações Gerais (DIG), o Departamento de Investigações Sobre Entorpecentes (Dise), entre outros.

Segundo a Polícia Civil, a operação “Castelo de Areia” deriva de outra que foi deflagrada no ano passado. Na manhã desta sexta, foram cumpridos seis mandados de busca e apreensão nas três cidades.

Entre os presos, há quatro homens e duas mulheres, que foram detidos em flagrante por tráfico de drogas e porte ilegal de armas de uso restrito. Alguns deles estão ligados a grupos criminosos de São Paulo, inclusive chefes do tráfico de drogas nas cidades onde foram feitas as apreensões.

Foram apreendidos diversos aparelhos celulares, aproximadamente 54 quilos de maconha, sete quilos de cocaína, um revolver calibre 357, uma submetralhadora de calibre 9mm e aproximadamente R$ 10 mil em espécie, além de balanças de precisão, grande quantidade de material para embalo e anotações da contabilidade do tráfico.
