Apenas um deles confessou o crime.

De acordo com a Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM), agentes flagraram o crime por meio das câmeras da Central de Monitoramento Eletrônico (Cemel).

Uma equipe então seguiu para a região do bairro Vila Monteiro e encontrou os suspeitos. Eles estavam com quatro vasos de bronze em uma bolsa grande e um enrolado em um pedaço de pano.

Quando os guardas questionaram a procedência dos objetos, um dos homens disse que tinha encontrado tudo em uma caçamba. Porém, o outro suspeito confessou que eles tinham pulado o muro do cemitério para cometer o furto.

A equipe apresentou o caso no Plantão Policial, onde o delegado elaborou um Termo Circunstanciado de furto. Os dois ladrões vão responder ao processo em liberdade.
