Os suspeitos ignoraram uma ordem de parada na Rodovia Anhanguera (SP-330) e seguiram até o perímetro urbano da cidade, onde foram detidos.

De acordo com a Polícia Rodoviária, a dupla estava em um Volkswagen Polo com placas de Belo Horizonte (MG) e vidros insulfilmados. Os policiais deram ordem de parada obrigatória, mas o condutor ignorou e seguiu em fuga até acessar a região do bairro Chácara Três Marias.

A perseguição ao veículo contou com apoio de outras viaturas. Os policiais viram os ocupantes saírem do carro na Rua Particular e continuarem a fuga a pé por uma área de mata. Eles os cercaram no local e fizeram a abordagem.

Nenhum dos suspeitos estava com algo ilícito, mas em busca no carro, os PMs encontraram porções de haxixe embaixo do tapete do passageiro.

A dupla recebeu voz de prisão e foi autuada por porte de drogas na 2ª Delegacia Seccional de Campinas.
