Segundo a polícia, o homem estava com cheiro de álcool, mas recusou o bafômetro.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o acidente aconteceu por volta das 4h30, na Avenida Júlio de Vasconcelos, região do Nova Veneza.

A vítima, que reside em Nova Odessa (SP), dirigia um Chevrolet Meriva quando perdeu o controle da direção. Após o capotamento, o carro parou virado de lado e deixou o motorista ferido com dores no tórax e na cabeça.

Viaturas do Corpo de Bombeiros e Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) prestaram socorro à vítima que aguardava sentada no canteiro da rua.

De acordo com o registro do caso, o homem estava com cheiro de álcool, mas recusou o bafômetro. Ele foi encaminhado até a Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Macarenko e ficou sob atendimento médico.

O carro foi guinchado e recolhido ao pátio da cidade.
