A Polícia Militar (PM) localizou o condutor no bairro Vila Santa Catarina, mas ele resistiu à prisão e chegou a dar chutes na viatura.

De acordo com a PM, o causador do acidente conduzia um Chevrolet Corsa Hatch quando bateu em um Hyundai HB20 que estava estacionado.

A polícia encontrou o Corsa na altura da Avenida de Cillo e fez o acompanhamento até a abordagem na Rua Dom Bosco.

Ainda segundo a PM, o motorista apresentava claros sinais de embriaguez. Ele estava agressivo e não obedeceu às orientações da equipe, se recusando a sair do carro.

Os policiais tiveram que imobilizar o suspeito com algemas e quando o colocaram na viatura, ele deu vários chutes no veículo.

O homem foi conduzido ao Hospital Municipal para coleta de sangue e depois apresentado no plantão policial. O delegado registrou o caso como acidente de trânsito e embriaguez ao volante.
