A vítima foi atropelada por um motoboy.

De acordo com o Boletim de Ocorrência, o motoboy estava trafegando pela Rua Eduardo Hoffman quando ao passar por uma lombada um outro veículo com luz alta ofuscou sua visão e ele acabou atropelando o coletor que estava com seu carrinho de reciclagens.

Com o impacto causado pelo acidente, o motoboy caiu ao chão e, só neste momento, percebeu que tinha atropelado a vítima. A Polícia Militar (PM) e o Samu foram acionados, porém a vítima morreu no local.

A documentação da motocicleta estava em ordem. O caso foi registrado no Plantão Policial de Sumaré como homicídio culposo na direção de veículo automotor e será investigado.
