O acidente aconteceu na Avenida da Amizade, no bairro Chácaras Veneza.

Segundo informações da Polícia Militar, o idoso atravessava a avenida rapidamente quando foi atingido pela moto, que não conseguiu frear.

O Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) foi acionado e levou o idoso até o Hospital Estadual de Sumaré. A vítima teve ferimentos graves na cabeça e perna.

Já o motociclista e o garupa, foram levados pelos bombeiros até à Unidade de Pronto Atendimento (UPA) Engenheiro Marcos Aurélio de Marchi. Eles tiveram ferimentos leves.

O motociclista não tinha habilitação para conduzir a moto e foi autuado pela infração. O veículo foi liberado para um familiar dele.

O acidente foi registrado no 2° Distrito Policial como lesão corporal na direção de veículo automotor e dirigir sem possuir Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH).
