O caso foi atendido por volta das 04h02, , no bairro Conjunto de Cillos.

De acordo com a corporação, os policiais estavam atendendo uma ocorrência de engasgamento de criança na Rua Euclides da Cunha,.  No local a família estava muito desesperada e dizendo que a criança estava sem respiração , então os soldados Silva e Rovai encaminharam o bebe até o hospital.

Na unidade de saúde ele passou pelos atendimento necessários, sendo reanimado e permaneceu internado.
