O caso aconteceu por volta das 16h30. Pessoas que frequentavam o local, viram o corpo boiando na lagoa do Grêmio Villagres e acionaram a polícia e os bombeiros.

De acordo com apuração do Policial Padrão, o corpo estava em estado de decomposição e foi encontrado a cerca de 15 metros da borda.

Uma sobrinha da vítima fez o reconhecimento por foto, mas devido ao estado do cadáver, a PM informou que não foi possível identificar sinais de violência.

O corpo foi levado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML) para exames e o caso registrado no Distrito Policial de Rio Claro (SP).
