Na tarde desta quarta-feira (19) foi realizada uma operação integrada entre a Polícia Militar (19º BPM/I) e a Polícia Civil de Americana, chamada “Corta Barato”.

Através da fiscalização de estabelecimentos de hospedagem, hotéis, pousadas e pensões na cidade para combater crimes como tráfico de drogas e prostituição infantil, além de localizar procurados pela Justiça.

Assim, foram fiscalizados sete estabelecimentos no total e abordadas 149 pessoas, além dos dez veículos vistoriados.

Com isso, foram feitas cinco notificações para a Prefeitura Municipal de Americana, referente as irregularidades constatadas em alvarás de funcionamento.

Por fim, nenhuma pessoa foi detida nesta primeira operação, porém haverão outras.
