As vítimas reconheceram os autores do crime e uma delas foi ferida com uma tesoura.

De acordo com a Polícia Militar (PM), o arrastão aconteceu na região do bairro de Chácaras São Bento. Após diversas denúncias sobre o crime via 190, equipes seguiram para o local em busca dos envolvidos.

Vários jovens relataram terem sido alvos dos criminosos e descreveram os bandidos. Uma das vítimas chegou a ser ferida com socos e uma tesoura e precisou de atendimento médico.

A PM iniciou as buscas e flagrou cerca de 40 pessoas em um ponto de ônibus na Rodovia Comendador Guilherme Mamprim.

Quando notaram a polícia, algumas delas jogaram celulares e outros objetos em uma mata atrás do ponto. Os policiais abordaram o grupo e depois recuperaram celulares, roupas, tênis, correntes, relógio e bonés na área verde.

Algumas vítimas reconheceram os objetos e também identificaram os autores do arrastão. Além disso, a vítima ferida que estava em atendimento médico também reconheceu um dos detidos.

O caso foi apresentado no Distrito Policial da cidade, onde sete vítimas prestaram depoimentos. Ao término da ocorrência, nove pessoas ficaram detidas pelo crime.
