De acordo com o Corpo de Bombeiros, por volta das 19h40 os militares foram acionados para atender uma ocorrÊncia de incêndio na Rua Florindo Boschiero.

No local foi constatado que a vítima adulta estava com queimaduras de 2º grau na perna, o mesmo estava na garagem cozinhando e foi alimentar o fogo do tacho com álcool e gerou uma pequena explosão, queimando-o e a uma criança de três anos que estava próximo.

O fogo atingiu também a uma motocicleta estacionada. O princípio de incêndio foi controlado rapidamente pelos populares.

A vítima criança foi socorrida antes da chegada das viaturas ao Hospital Afonso Ramos em Santa Bárbara d’ Oeste (SP), já a vítima adulto foi conduzida ao Hospital São Lucas de Americana.
