O projeto foi pensado pela Delegacia em parceria com a Faculdade FAM da cidade. Às segundas, quartas e sextas-feiras, estagiárias de psicologia estarão na sala para realizar os atendimentos.

As mulheres que forem à DDM têm a opção de passar pela escuta antes ou depois de registrar Boletim de Ocorrência. O acolhimento oferecido gratuitamente pode ser pontual ou ter continuidade. 

O espaço contém frases, cores e ilustrações pensadas em oferecer conforto e segurança às mulheres. Professores e estudantes de designer gráfico da faculdade foram os responsáveis pela projeção do ambiente, que já está funcionando.
