Ele foi detido pouco tempo depois.

A PM estava em patrulhamento, quando foi acionada, por volta das 12h50, para atender uma ocorrência de conduta inconveniente. A funcionária de uma farmácia contou que estava trabalhando normalmente, quando um homem entrou no estabelecimento para tentar beijá-la. Ele ainda teria tentado passar as mãos nela.

Cientes dos fatos e das características do rapaz, os policiais fizeram um patrulhamento pelos arredores e o localizaram na Rua São João.

Ele recebeu voz de prisão por crime de importunação sexual e foi conduzido até a Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM), onde ficou à disposição da Justiça.
