Após receberem diversas denúncias sobre crimes ambientais nas dependências do clube, os policiais, com o apoio da Vigilância Sanitária, foram apurar o caso.

As equipes constataram que o esgoto do local não apresentava nenhum maquinário em correto funcionamento. Por conta disso, o descarte de resíduos ocorria diretamente na represa de Salto Grande, que abastece o sistema de água do município de Americana.

O fiscal da Vigilância Sanitária verificou que o Clube não apresentou as licenças ambientais necessárias e notificou o local.

Houve acionamento do Departamento de Água e Esgoto de Americana e da CETESB, para ciência dos fatos e adoção das medidas cabíveis.

A equipe conduziu o preso à delegacia, onde ele passou pelos trâmites de polícia judiciária. Após o pagamento de fiança foi liberado e responderá pelo crime em liberdade.
