A visita incluiu uma passagem pelo Departamento de Polícia Judiciária (Deinter 7), onde uma das viaturas foi destinada à Delegacia de Defesa da Mulher (DDM).

Derrite destacou que mais de 300 veículos policiais serão entregues em todo o estado de São Paulo. Para 2024, está planejado que as DDMs de Sorocaba, Santos e outras cidades funcionem 24 horas por dia, com a adição de novas viaturas.

Além disso, o secretário abordou os índices de criminalidade na região de Sorocaba e Jundiaí, com foco especial nas rodovias de Jundiaí. Ele também anunciou a integração de 14 mil novos policiais militares na corporação e futuros investimentos em tecnologia. Outro ponto importante mencionado foi o programa de uso de tornozeleiras eletrônicas para mulheres sob medidas protetivas.
