O fato ocorreu na Rua Vicente de Genaro, no bairro Jardim Morada do Sol em Indaiatuba (SP). O homem foi atingido por um tiro na perna.

De acordo com o PM, o irmão é dependente químico e começou a ofender e ameaçar o policial com uma barra de ferro, além de desferir vários golpes no tanque da motocicleta dele. Em seguida, o agressor tentou atacar o policial com o objeto. Segundo o PM, para se defender, ele atirou na perna do irmão.

O Policial Padrão apurou que o homem ferido caiu na rua e aguardou a chegada do Corpo de Bombeiros para receber socorro. Ele foi encaminhado ao Pronto-Socorro do Hospital Augusto de Oliveira Camargo (Haoc), onde recebeu tratamento médico.

Diversas equipes da Polícia Militar (PM) e da Guarda Civil Municipal (GCM) compareceram ao local da ocorrência. A área permaneceu isolada até a chegada da perícia. A Polícia Civil (PC), investiga o caso.

Segundo o boletim de ocorrência, as partes envolvidas na confusão foram ouvidas na delegacia e liberadas.
