O curso será ministrado pelos Profissionais da Saúde no Salão Paroquial da Igreja Matriz.

A capacitação será voltada, inicialmente, para dar assistência a crianças de 0 a 3 anos a fim de garantir maior segurança em situações de emergência em  escolas, além de possibilitar os funcionários a atuarem em situações emergenciais enquanto a assistência médica especializada estiver a caminho.

Segundo a secretária de Educação, Débora Sacilotto, ao todo serão 149 profissionais qualificados. “Queremos estar preparados para cuidar de nossas crianças. Um atendimento qualificado pode salvar vidas”, comenta.

Projeto de Lei

A capacitação em primeiros socorros é um Projeto de Lei da Câmara  (PLC) 17/2018 aprovado pelo Senado em 2018 e recebe o nome de Lei Lucas, em homenagem à criança Lucas Begalli Zamora, que morreu engasgado durante um passeio escolar, em Campinas (SP).
