O caso foi atendido pela Polícia Militar (PM), por volta das 12h52.

A equipe composta pelo Cabo Rodrigues e Cabo Picinin foram acionados para comparecer na Rua José Correa de Oliveira, onde o o solicitante informou que o motorista de um caminhão chegou para fazer entrega em seu estabelecimento, e durante o descarregamento de bebidas, constatou que o motorista estava embriagado

No local, a equipe fez contato com o motorista que confirmou ter bebido duas cervejas, diante da confirmação foi convidado para submeter-se ao teste de etilômetro, onde foi constatado 0,80 mg/l de álcool, configurando infração e crime de trânsito.

O caso foi encaminhado ao Plantão Policial de Artur Nogueira, onde o autor foi liberado após pegar uma fiança no valor de um salário mínimo.
