Em patrulhamento Tático de Ronda Ostensiva Municipal (Romu), a equipe dos Guardas Civis Queiroz, Salvato e Donato, tomou conhecimento de que o autor de um feminicídio ocorrido na madrugada de ontem estaria no bairro Jardim dos Lírios.

Os Guardas iniciaram então as buscas pelo bairro, até que na esquina da Rua Projetada com a Rua das Petúnias, o indivíduo foi localizado. Durante a abordagem, o mesmo confessou o crime contra sua esposa.

O homem de 31 anos, servente de pedreiro, apresentava um ferimento na cabeça, vindo de agressões sofridas pelos familiares da vítima logo após o homicídio.

Ele foi então detido e conduzido ao hospital municipal para atendimento médico e posteriormente apresentado na unidade de polícia. Após procedimentos cartorários de polícia judiciária, a autoridade decidiu pela prisão do indivíduo, sendo recolhido ao ergástulo de Sumaré.
