Funcionários da empresa avistaram o cadáver na tarde desta quarta-feira (21) e acionaram a Polícia Militar (PM).

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o corpo da vítima aparentemente do sexo feminino, estava boiando na região da Estação Ferro Liga (Avenida Beira Rio), ao lado do museu da água e sem nenhuma documentação.

Equipes da perícia técnica do Instituto de Criminalística estiveram no local e o corpo foi encaminhado para o Instituto Médico Legal (IML) para exames.

O caso foi registrado como morte suspeita no 1º Distrito da Polícia Civil da cidade.
