Ele é acusado de cometer vários furtos de estepes de veículos não apenas em Limeira, mas também em cidades da região, como Cordeirópolis (SP) e Santa Gertrudes (SP).

O homem estava trafegando com um VW Gol quando foi flagrado por câmeras inteligentes adentrando a cidade de Limeira. No momento da abordagem, que ocorreu no bairro Cidade Universitária, os guardas encontraram seis estepes (rodas com pneus) dentro do porta-malas do Gol. Ele confessou que furtava os estepes para revender a borracheiros no valor de R$ 80 cada.

Policiais civis de Cordeirópolis foram acionados e estiveram no local. Eles reconheceram o Gol e o condutor como sendo o acusado dos furtos.

O homem foi detido e encaminhado à delegacia de Cordeirópolis, onde a ocorrência foi apresentada. Ele ainda está no benefício da saída temporária.
