O acidente ocorreu por volta das 13h30 na Estrada do Magoga, área rural da cidade.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, quando a polícia chegou no local o condutor já estava fora do veículo, que estava imerso no córrego.

Testemunhas disseram que flagraram um Fiat Uno transitando em zigue-zague pela estrada e logo depois o carro caiu no curso d’água. Eles ligaram para o 190 e ajudaram o motorista a sair do veículo.

De acordo com a polícia, para checar se não tinha mais nenhum passageiro, a equipe precisou quebrar o vidro do traseiro do automóvel.

Logo depois, em conversa com o condutor, os policiais notaram que ele apresentava fala pastosa. No entanto, o auxiliar se recusou a passar pelo teste de bafômetro e a equipe tomou medidas administrativas quanto a isso.

Vale destacar, que embora você não seja obrigado a fazer o teste do bafômetro, a recusa também caracteriza uma infração gravíssima.
