Segundo informou a PM, o suspeito estava em um carro roubado e atirou contra a guarnição que precisou reagir.

Conforme apuração do Policial Padrão, o caso aconteceu por volta das 21h, no Jardim Residencial das Palmeiras. Os policiais viram um Ford Fiesta com suspeita de roubo na Estrada dos Costas e tentaram fazer a abordagem.

Durante o acompanhamento do veículo, um dos ocupantes atirou contra a equipe, que revidou com nove disparos.

Assim que o Fiesta parou, os policiais constataram que havia dois adolescentes no carro e um revólver calibre .38. O que estava na direção foi atingido pelos disparos e morreu no local. O outro menor, de 15 anos, estava abaixado no assoalho do veículo e não ficou ferido.

Equipes do Corpo de Bombeiros, Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e perícia estiveram no local da ocorrência.

A polícia registrou o caso no plantão policial como morte decorrente de intervenção policial. O outro adolescente prestou depoimento e foi liberado.

No plantão, também compareceu o proprietário do Ford Fiesta, vítima de assalto na terça-feira (6). O homem reconheceu a arma que estava com o suspeito baleado e pelas características informadas pela polícia, ele acredita ser o mesmo autor do crime.
